The Alpha Course, Fall 2008

The Alpha Course is a practical presentation of the Christian faith. This ten week course is for anyone interested in finding out more about the Christian faith. It is designed for non-church goers and new Christians. It can also be used as a refresher course for mature Christians. Alpha courses have been held in thousands of churches of all denominations across the world.

Each weekly session begins with a light meal followed by focusing on relevant issues of faith in daily living. Topics include: “Who is Jesus?”, “How can we have faith?”, “How to pray”, “How to read the Bible”, “How does God guide us?”, and much more. These presentations will be followed by small group discussions. Alpha is a place where no question is regarded too simple or too unimportant.

You are invited this Tuesday evening to Alpha. We begin at 6:30 with a light meal, explore tonight's focus topic, and end promptly at 9pm. First Baptist Arlington has two Alpha groups this fall. One meets in Woburn and the other meets in Medford. You are invited to the most convenient Alpha group. Alpha is free, and a is a great place for exploring the questions of life.

For more information, see Alpha USA, call the church office or come to one of our next meeting on December 2nd.
